When you touch a hot pan, your hand automatically jumps back, to get away from the pain. Your hands will drop it even, and I know I've shattered my share of glass pans coming out of the oven. It's only a little bit disturbing that my life this past year can be summed up in about 65 pages and probably 150 LJ entires.
